RE: File Transfer Plus 1.1 RELEASE (update 14/09)
That would require much more programming work to interact with the Messenger API, which would greatly delay the release of new versions. Also, MsgPlus has many other nice plugins that make Messenger to be a lot better.

RE: File Transfer Plus 1.1 RELEASE (update 14/09)
I've added them to my to-do list, thanks :P Actually I was already thinking about the auto-accept feature for people in your "friend list", so it would save the file in a default folder even if you're away ;)

RE: File Transfer Plus 1.1 RELEASE (update 14/09)
I haven't found a way to detect it yet, so currently I suggest to use the SpeedGuide.net's analyzer. But I'll try to find it out :P

RE: File Transfer Plus 1.1 RELEASE (update 14/09)
You can already use it behind a NAT if you can open the port for incoming connections. You just have to select the option "detect external IP address automatically" so the plugin gets your correct IP.

RE: File Transfer Plus 1.1 RELEASE (update 14/09)
Remember that the plugin tries to use the port numbers sequentially, so it will try first at 8030, and it will only try the next port if the previous one was busy. You have to be sure that the port 8030 is open for incoming TCP connections, originati...

RE: File Transfer Plus 1.1 RELEASE (update 14/09)
Currently it only checks the size of the file in bytes to see if the transfer is complete or incomplete. A checksum is already planned, I think I'll implement it in the next release.

RE: File Transfer Plus 1.1 RELEASE (update 14/09)
That usually happens when the firewall detects the "open" request by the application to the winsock API. For example, the firewall in WinXP Service Pack 2 already asks if you want to open ports for the plugin. I'll search if there are more APIs t...

RE: File Transfer Plus 1.1 RELEASE (update 14/09)
I'll add an external IP detection mechanism for routers and NATs in the next release or, at least, a way to set your IP manually as a workaround.

RE: File Transfer Plus 1.1 RELEASE (update 14/09)

RE: Problem with sending messages
It happens to me and my friends too. I'm pretty sure the cause is MsgPlus and/or the Handwritting plugin, since it never happens when these are not installed. Not only with MsgPlus v3 but also with v2. The problem does not happen all the time, it se...
