RE: MSN - Display picture problem
Try taking 96x96 crops of an image you'd like as a display picture, or resize an image to 96x96 (if its square) and saving them in the .png format, as this is what they are converted to when you import them anyway.

RE: did any1 get a ethernet connection with there free usb modem from their isp?
You could buy a combined ADSL modem and router, and then request the information you would need to connect to the internet using it from your ISP. I suggest looking at Draytek routers as there are models that have an integrated modem and hard wired/w...

RE: did any1 get a ethernet connection with there free usb modem from their isp?
A lot of modems supplied by your ISP simply don't have this feature - because in doing this, they can attempt to sell you a wireless package rather than let you network your own.

RE: Firefox visual problem
The popup doesn't appear, and I don't think it is a theme problem because my friend uses the same theme and his ff is fine.

RE: "Limited or No Connectivity"
Limited of no connectivity issues with wired devices is pretty tricky, if I'm running an ethernet cable between two computers, and one has that error, I set both PC's to have manually configured IP addresses, and repair both computers connections.

Firefox visual problem
I updated my firefox from 1.0.7 to the 1.5 full release, and the bottom bar is too thick. Does anyone know why this is? It has happened with all of the betas and release candidates, hence my downgrading to 1.0.7 until the final.

RE: Wireless router w/adsl modem
yes, it does have wpa also. I'm assuming (seeing as this is really for small business) the range will be very good, so encryption is important. The MAC address thing, means a whitelist of mac addresses, which is what I really meant, itonly lets mac ...

Thanks for all of your views, but although I've had some say in what router we get, my dad's chosen a draytek router, but I'm not complaining because it has all the features we want, and fully functional voip built in. http://www.draytek.co.uk/pro...
