hmmm... it seems pretty good... i personally would go for more ram, but obviously it depends on what you want to do with it. good processor, i have one of those myself

lol yeh... it's been like that for a month now. :P the SP3 release has been delayed and it's also why SP isn't yet FULLY compatible with MSN 7.5, but it is 95% compatible

now that i think about it, it would be rather difficult to have it any other way. eg. what happens when two people send a message at once?? then they are fighting for the taskbar... looks like a crash waiting to happen :P this is a very good implem...

like it will be flashing in the tabbed convo bar, but not the task bar, im using the latest of everything (always keep up :P). i'm not sure it's a bug either... but may as well bring it to someone's attention

i find that it only flases if you person who's tab you are currently viewing sends you a message if that makes sense

yeh that's true, but that doesnt mean it generates more heat :P. i'm pretty sure that what an intel does is that it senses when it's overheated and then it stops, where as an AMD doesnt? or something like that... i cant exactly remember

i don't think that software could do this.... because the power would have to go through the computer for the software to recognise it and it would be fried anyway! so i highly doubt that would be the case

lmao i read an article in APC magazine, comparing Intel's and AMD. what they did to test the heat they gave off was they used the CPU as a hotplate and found which one cooked and egg the fastest. it was funny. needless to say it was the AMD that cam...
