RE: Locking Problem, Help!
So before, when you switched users with MSN locked, your sister could log in, use msn, and when you logged back in, nothing had happened to your MSN? If not then polygamy might solve the problem www.stuffplug.com. It's a plugin for plus! ...

RE: isn't it possible...
I don't really see the point in this. As well as being a privacy breech as has already been said, why would this information be useful? I certainly wouldn't care if my contacts were using their webcam.

RE: Locking Problem, Help!
The other users that log on, do they have msn messenger to run at startup? I'm not sure if this would affect yours, but it might cause some sort of conflict if msn is already running.

RE: Locking Problem, Help!
I've never experienced this problem, but you could first try downloading the latest Messenger Plus! 3.52.130 version. http://www.msgplus.net/download.php EDIT: If you logged off, MSN messenger gets ended as do all processes on your user.

RE: StuffPlug-NG 2.2.119
Do you mean that it should be "NOT FOUND" with a space?
ZephyrPlug-Ins04-14-2005 at 05:02 PM
RE: StuffPlug-NG 2.2.119
This feature was in the first stuffplug i think, and will be in a future version, but there is no tabbed conversations in this version.

RE: File Transfer failing ?
Yeah stuffplug is what i would recommend as well. In the new MSNM7, microsoft have decided to block loads of file extensions for security reasons after many msn viruses were going round and being executed by people through msn.

RE: Reputation reason guidelines
I thought that this was about making sure people could write proper comments when they rep people. eg stopping someone saying "good avatar".

RE: Reputation reason guidelines
Sorry if i misunderstood, but whats this got to do with number of characters in a rep. This is the amount of letters you can write in your comment when giving someone a rep, not how many posts.

RE: About auto accept request
In plus preferences, go to instant messages. There is a box which says automatically accept requests by default. If you check this, i recommend that you filter the contacts you want to autoaccept from to be safe. The filter contacts feature is just n...

RE: MSN Crashing all the time w. Polygamy
Polygamy works fine for me. I just use stuffplug for polygamy. Do you have all of those patches and plugins enabling polygamy at the same time. This may be the cause of the problem. I would recommend reinstalling MSN Messenger and just use the polyga...

RE: MSN Messenger 7.0 - Disappointing / No Effort?
I do use MSN 7 at the moment, but i thought that 6.2 was a great version and the new features in 7 i will probably very rarely use if at all. Some are quite useful, but mainly they are more fun features. Loads of my friends still use MSN 6.2 after se...

RE: Firefox and MSN spaces
Yes this is the reason, but in IE the photo and banner do not stick out like in firefox. However, IE's solution to this is by cutting off a bit of the banner.

RE: Firefox and MSN spaces
My space looks exactly the same and its only since i put the messenger plus! banner in. IE seems to resize the banner to fit in with the background. Maybe firefox can't do this. EDIT: IE doesn't resize the banner, but cuts a bit of it off.

RE: Suggestion (or question?)
Using plus! you can choose which contacts you want notifications for. Plus preferences, notifications, popup defaults, and check custom sign in notifications.

RE: Messenger Plus! 3.x Password Change Security Bypass Vulnerability
I really don't think this is a security risk as the lock for MSN messenger is not something to stop hackers or anything, but to stop users of the same computer from opening your MSN. Also, settings can be saved which save passwords i think, so these...
