RE: Start posting your first skins (or attempts at it) :p
My only concern is that lots of half-complete, not really good skins will be appearing everywhere, a bit like what we see with some scripts :P. Is there going to be some form of requirements for the database? A limit on the crazy amount of Vista ski...

RE: Start posting your first skins (or attempts at it) :p
I'm referring to the unknown, Terill and Rolando who gave up after Windows Live Messenger :P.

RE: Start posting your first skins (or attempts at it) :p
Editing uifiles is fantastic, no more compile errors! Being able to manipulate windows is something that was out of skinners wildest dreams and I expect many of the great skinners will return for one last attempt at skinning :P.

RE: Start posting your first skins (or attempts at it) :p
I will be updating Feel Blue Skin, but like everyone else, I'm busy at school :P. The new skinning system does make things quicker than ever before though. When will Plus! be released, because the end of the month is no way near enough time for any ...

RE: Disable Automatic Conversion to Emoticons
Yes yes and yes. I get really frustrated when typing and I have to put things in brackets and it doesn't work (Y).

RE: Even Notifications & Custom Names
I don't the API has been awful since MSN Messenger 7. Maybe Windows Live Messenger 9 may bring more to the API (which has been hinted at).

RE: 8.5 Final Relased...along with Mail, Photo Gallery, and Writer
It's just a shame you need Windows Live Installer now (which is awful). This release is still buggy and the comments on their development blog don't make nice reading. People are not happy with this update, and I'll be sticking with 8.1.

Like remember sessions? I really like this idea, but I don't believe it is possible. Patchou? :P

RE: Custom Emoticons Suggestion
I agree with both, especially having a multi-select control as it can be very frustrating when constantly dragging emoticons around.

RE: Contact List Clean-Up
Yeh, I agree. I worse thing about software is when little things are left out like this (they all add up). Windows Live Messenger is full on them e.g. on my GMail account when I delete a contact it asks me if I want to delete them by Hotmail as well ...

RE: Mess.be reporting WL wave 2 final on 7th november. WTF!? = More anger at MS
Apple is becoming really popular while Microsoft is digging itself a hole. Microsoft Connect is so hard to use it puts me off reporting bugs in the first place.

RE: Preferences Lock feature's "Password Required" windows' icon
This is why leaks are bad, bug reports that are likely been fixed or commented on privately appear.

RE: Chat log folders are grouped by name, not by month
How did I miss all these threads ... The beta was out for less than a day and there were about two pages of threads in the beta forums :P. That's what happens if you step away from the computer for an entire day :zippy:.

RE: Tabbed Chats - "Close All Chats" Breaks - Does not work fully
Gosh! Try disabling them and attempt to reproduce again (it's worth a try) :P.

Chat log folders are grouped by name, not by month
The screenshot explains it really. Messenger Plus! organises chat log folders by name and not by the month created. I think it would be easier to group them by newest to oldest in order to make searching for chat logs easier :). [img]http://shoutbox....

I can't confirm, all the scripts I attempt to edit load without any hassle. How much text are you trying to load in this case? Windows Vista Ultimate (6.0.6000) Windows Live Messenger 8.1.0178 Messenger Plus! Live 4.40.0.293

RE: Skins DB?
Pathou are you skinning Messenger by normal methods (just overriding with a .res file) or are you going to allow PNGs to be edited back into the uifiles again? Because without that I doubt skinning will be popular (it's just too damn time consuming ...

RE: New Script Editor Debugging
I agree an adjustable width and height is something that needs to be there. Although I doubt I would be using the clear option I can see it is important, especially for larger scripts.

Locking Messenger needs to be easier
It may sound odd but I am always receiving emails about people who seem to lock Messenger and not know how to restore it. I believe a large amount of people seem to run into this problem and they become stuck. What I suggest is when a person locks Me...

RE: Lock Messenger - Suggestion
I don't think it would to that useful, but a simple button with a simple function is easy to implement and it may be useful for some (I know I want an option to reset things to default in other programs).

RE: Scripts: Replace Text
The only problem I have with this is will anyone actually use it? I myself code in Notepad++ (you seem to code in Notepad2) and the Plus! script editor just places everything together (it's not easy at all to code in it). Can any script developers s...
