RE: Looking for staff - news posters and admins
Yeh, I've always wanted more posts involving what we have found out there that can be used now, rather than what may happen in the future :P.

RE: Looking for staff - news posters and admins
Yep, although there is no pressure to post frequently, some posts would be nice. It's about quality, not quantity :P.

Looking for staff - news posters and admins
It's been a while since I last posted, so it feels weird asking here, but I know this is the most popular forum about all things Messenger. Basically in the past few months, most of my active admins and news posters have moved onto different thing, ...

RE: I want to join the dark side.
I've got the new unibody Macbook and it a masterpiece of modern design. I dual boot Windows on it, so the OS is never an issue (although Mac OS X has some significant improvements, I can take a while to get used to). I wouldn't look back to a PC ag...

RE: Xbox and PC to Speakers
Sounds like you have a good TV, that imports and exports 5.1 surround sound. Most TVs don't, simply because it's rather expensive to achieve. If I do that it only comes out as 2.1. I wish Microsoft just added the optical out port to the 360 itself...

RE: Xbox and PC to Speakers
You will need an optical cable and splitter, but PCs don't generally transmit sound in 5.1 (some sound cards will) and music will only be through 2.1. I suggest getting a jack to jack for your PC, as there is no benefit of 5.1 surround sound. On you...

RE: Xbox 360 Connection Questions
I bridge my connection with an anti-virus installed, and it works perfectly fine. Naturally the connection would be weaker, but if you have a good router you will not notice any difference.

RE: Looking for an ALL-IN-ONE printer
Remember the cheap ones are more expensive in the long run. Make sure it is efficient on ink, otherwise you will end up paying a lot more than you originally anticipated.

RE: Service Pack 3 annoyance
Compared to Mac it is frustrating. I couldn't install SP1 until I installed an update, which required an update, and that required an update. I then had to install the relevant updates for SP1 which take forever to download and are redilcously long ...

RE: Service Pack 3 annoyance
Windows service packs are terrible. I can't belive it took me 3 hours to install Vista SP1 (took 5 batches of updates), while it took me 10 minutes to update Mac OS X. I was so fucking angry yesterday, that I vow to personally slap Bill Gates if I e...

RE: Christmas
Christmas is a hectic time for me at work and at school (we have exams straight after). Spare time is unlikely this holiday, but I've been meaning to catch up on the fall season, some films and even some site development :P.

As I'm currently studying US Politics, I have to be up all night following where the electoral college votes are going. Polls such as Gallup suggest Obama is in for a comfortable win, but the "Bradly effect" may distort the overall result. People ...
