RE: Windows Live Messenger 9 (2009) (14.0.3921.717)
I've seen 5 designs since Windows Live Messenger was announced. I wish they fixed bugs for once :P.

RE: Is MSN/WLM login password encrypted?
True, but if you save your password, it is currently stored as raw text (dodgy Microsoft).

RE: Windows Live Messenger 9 (2009) (14.0.3921.717)
Yeh, apparently this is an old build, and the design is subject to change again :P.

RE: Windows Live Messenger 9 (2009) (14.0.3921.717)
Well I'm pretty confident they did, but our source told us it was a pretty poor attempt (classic Microsoft style) :P.

RE: [News] Windows Live Messenger 9 to have WPF effects
(H) Yep, this seems like work for skinners and Patchou a like, but like Patchou said don't expect it for a while. This is a bit of a shame, as msgstuff is highly listed on search results for WLM 9, and when its released (even in public beta form) I...

RE: Opinions on new Messenger Stuff
Yeh, I'll think I'll add that along with the rest of Andy''s suggestions :). I may also change the header.

RE: Opinions on new Messenger Stuff
It will be there, along with a couple of new features. The website is now compatible with all mainstream browsers in several operating systems and resolutions, excluding IE8 :P.

RE: Opinions on new Messenger Stuff
I wouldn't do that, as the ads are there for those who will actually click them. News readers don't tend too, but those wanting some pretty new display pictures do. I've implemented the new header bar. What do people think? Note: the website refl...

RE: Opinions on new Messenger Stuff
It will probably decrease my bounce rate, as most of my users are referring from search engines, looking for custom content or skins. The news readers tend to use RSS :P. Again, I'll be finding a hybrid answer to the problem i.e. menu, but new head...

RE: Opinions on new Messenger Stuff
Right time to answer some questions: Thanks Eljay, that design really adds more to the website. I love the content shadows and the new header bar. The only problem I have is what it would look like away from the homepage, where a menu is required. I...

RE: Opinions on new Messenger Stuff
Nathan does a website need images? It makes the pages load longer and I can bloat a website. The problem me I have a 40% bounce rate. That's ridiculous, but I can see why, the current version looks very full and hard to knows where to start. It puts...

Opinions on new Messenger Stuff
It's that time of year again where I annually update my Messenger website. So what's new? Not much really, a lot of the changes will be for my admins, but there is a comment update system as well as a new anti spam feature. Of course there are heap...

RE: What's canada like?
His dad's a business man, surly Dubai is the more stereotypical place to move :P. Oh and btw, Canada isn't exactly the place with the best weather in the world, and most governments have problems, in fact we have a moderate system of government. Ar...

RE: A level Choices
Don't take ICT, it's soul destroying and a useless A Level, but boy is it not as bad as media studies. I suggest Biology as it opens more doors and is more 'respected', all the other options you have seem rather soft. Sciences are always good, an...

RE: Hey, who said we could tell about a beta going on?
I emailed Patchou 5 times asking what I could/ could not post about. He said I could talk about any changes, as the version was planned to be released next week, but he told me not to mention anything about his new store. In my last email this is wha...

RE: Uni Laptop - Buy PC or Mac?
They won't really care, there connections are fantastic. But under no circumstances go downloading torrents, they will kick you out! Save that for when you come home.

RE: Uni Laptop - Buy PC or Mac?
You can always install boot camp and use Windows with it. Where as installing hackintosh may not work on a normal PC :P.

RE: Uni Laptop - Buy PC or Mac?
Get a Mac, but wait to September. Why? You can use your student discount, and it is rumoured Apple will be dropping prices and releasing a new range of Macbooks :P.
