RE: [Illusion?] A mathematical question
Ok on first inspection, it looks like there is a hole magically appearing in the second triangle. But lets work through this problem more closely. First of all, the pieces used in each triangle are the same. So this leads us to conclude that the surf...

RE: Win XP SP2 Released
Yeah I did wonder about that as well. To be honest I haven't tried that way :$ The other location its stored as a back up is in C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache. Maybe its worth overwriting that one as well. The whole topic seems a bit voodoo with pe...

RE: Win XP SP2 Released
Like MenthiX said, lots of rumours always fly around about these things, especially when its Microsoft. This service pack has undergone some of the greatest internal and external testing Microsoft has ever done for a service pack. So I think its good...

RE: File Transfer Plus 1.1 RELEASE (update 14/09)
Could it be possible to select a default folder to save stuff to, like MSN Messenger allows you to do. I'd like to just save everything to My Received Files without having to manually navigating to it each time. You could tie this in with the auto-a...

RE: Win XP SP2 Released
From what I read, its going to be on Windows Update on the 25th August. That's also the date when M$ will be sending out free CDs with it on to all that apply. And yes build 2180, the RTM version is the final product. Its recommended that everyone i...

RE: Mozilla Firefox: buggy or dynamic? [Poll updated]
I think for n00bies IE is great, Microsoft's support is excellent. But for those of us that can maintain our own computers, IE is far too lacking in features for heavy use. I think the issue of open source is a none issue. PHP is open source and is ...

RE: Mozilla Firefox: buggy or dynamic? [Poll updated]
Yeah but its not the n00b's that submit the bugs. When was the last time someone's mum went "Ah yes, I think I'll submit a bug report to Microsoft today"? :P And Mozilla is pushing Firefox as the future, so I think it will get a decent amount o...

RE: Mozilla Firefox: buggy or dynamic? [Poll updated]
I am going to add something of a twist to your argument. Many people use Firefox and certainly don't think its crap. Having said that, one man's meat is another man's poison. I happen to think IE is not a very good browser [b]in the face of the c...

Only 90% ? :( ;) Now you added that option I could finally vote. This is a good topic Keystorm, and one you can see that I am quite interested it :)

RE: Mozilla Firefox: buggy or dynamic? [Poll updated]
Sadly I can't vote in your poll as none of the answers really suit how I feel about Firefox. I shall endeavour to elaborate ;) I think as Firefox gains popularity, more and more bugs will be discovered. Many of these will be small, and some like rec...

RE: Webmessenger Public Beta
You only have to add the site to a whitelist, so its not really all that bad. I quite like it to be honest. Seems to work well enough for me, and its going to be quite handy to some people for whom the normal client doesn't work :) Not bad for free...

RE: Trying to Use Colors...
Ah but did we not have to copy and paste before the nick command was invented? ^o) /me checks the Plus history... EDIT: The nick command came with version 2.10.32 which was after colour tags were invented. Could you put colours in names before that?...

Not to worry. Its horrible when you can't see something that everyone else can. I've done that before!! You can see now that the nick function does all the hard work for you ;)

RE: Trying to Use Colors...
To get colours in your display name, use the /nick command exactly as Tochjo showed in the post [url=http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?ti d=29408&pid=286288#pid286288]here[/url] Nickname and display name are the same thing ;) EDIT: Can you se...

I suggest you read what Tochjo said in his post again. That's twice now you have stated something that is wrong ;) You do [b]NOT[/b] go into the options or paste anything. You change your nick name in a conversation window using the /nick command!!...

RE: File Transfer Plus 1.1 RELEASE (update 14/09)
The only thing I would say with setting the IP manually, is that not everyone has a static IP, especially those people on dial up modems, which means they would have to keep on changing it. And its those dial up people I see needing this plugin the ...

RE: Request: Current torrent info
Azureus has a plugin structure. Not being a programmer myself, but couldn't someone write an Azureus plugin which can extract the information, then have a Msgplus plugin talk to it? This is the way that the WMP2 plugin works. For the other clients, ...

RE: File Transfer Plus 1.1 RELEASE (update 14/09)
Its because it sends your local IP eg 192.168.x.x which of course means other people can't connect to your machine because they don't know where to find it :)

RE: [sug] PROPER backspace ability with emoticon autopreview
Yeah but the thing is, some of us actually like having our icons auto-completed. I find its far less common that I send the wrong icon. Sending :D when you mean to send :( is not always a great idea. I use the Ctrl+Z method as well, and although its ...

Yeah the fonts do look similar. So does anyone have a PC powerful enough to play this game at high quality?? My PC barely makes the minimum specs :( But I have heard ID did a brilliant job of making the game look amazing even at the lowest quality!

Not quite sure what they were, but you had some strange invisible characters at the ends of many lines of your code. I deleted them, and added a # for the table.double part at the bottom. Check the attacted code to see all the differences I made :) H...
