dude, its safe to turn on a pc while the side is off i do it all the time it won't zap you, i run my computer with the side of all the time i even have it running while cleaning it:P

the heatsink may have also been unseated so its best to just take it to your computer shop of let a friend who knows what they are doing to reseat the heatsink or replace the fan/heatsink

OK WTF something is very wrong here BUT just coz you feel air coming out the back doesn't mean its all good now most computers have a safety cut off of about 60-70c it sounds like your CPU Fan is dead which would explain why its getting so hot STOP ...

nvidia won't give any information out on unreleased cards, so we don't know if an agp model is in the works using the bridgechip its very much possible though :)

yeah, it might be some damaged files, SP2 would update and repair sed files, and anyways the Standalone DX9.0c and Sp2 built in dx9c are both 2 different versions for some reason

use winace 2.0 compression instead it has way better compression compared to winrar, i use it all the time, comparing one 5 mb file i was able to achieve a compressioin of 2mb in winace, compared to 3.5mb in winrar

Run Drivercleaner which is available in the download sectioin of Guru3d.com, and install the 77.72 WHQL from nvidia direct show's message might be tellign you you need to either reinstall SP2, or DX9.0c

its users preference in the end i prefer nvidia, but ati is good as well although if you read a just released news post ati's crossfire has just been outdone again, Nvidia have just created Bridgeless SLI which means all of the 6xxx series can now ...

kk, you might wanna try using a newer driver the 75.90s-77.50s work wonders on even older cards, plus you'll get the extra settings also between the 56.xx's and the 67.03's nvidia removed the 6xAA and made it 8xSSAA
