If you're really just planning to watch films (non-HD?), the cheapest chinese Android tablet will do you fine + RockPlayer or another VLC-like equivalent for the tablet. Beyond that I have no idea, I've never used 2011, and hoped WLM hasn't turned into complete uselessness, but it seems I'm wrong.
