RE: Trying to use theLaucnh?
I don't recommend using theLaunch anymore. It still has issues with the Predefined Launcher (the window where you select which accounts to open.) (6) The good news is that you can use a newer (less buggy (A)) version called theLaunch Lite. :D Howeve...

RE: [Solved!] CPU Fan Error after cleaning up
Sorry, kind of forgot. :P The tech guy applied the grease (and properly cleaned up the fan in the box), and now I'm running at 38-40C. Tbh, the cleanup fee is way cheaper than getting all the materials. Except for the value of learning, it's reall...

RE: [Solved!] CPU Fan Error after cleaning up
This Monday I'm taking the tower to get it greased and to see if they can remove the rest of the dust I couldn't remove. For now, I'm using it for browsing, with a side of the case open, and I got EVEREST to monitor the temperature. Doesn't reach...

Haha! I'll see what I can get. Thanks everyone! Glad to know I wasn't entirely alone in my first PC cleanup, as lame as it sounds! 8-)

RE: [Solved!] CPU Fan Error after cleaning up
Guys, after my last message I came back to see if anything was loose. I pressed some of the plugged stuff, just in case they had been pulled by mistake. Then I plugged everything but left the case open, and all fans are working fine. I don't get the...

RE: [Solved!] CPU Fan Error after cleaning up
I didn't unplug the fan. I just removed the box and kept it close to the case. I'm going to check it out again now, to see if I see anything loose. I did see a black and red cable with a white head unplugged (not in the fan box, though), and I can...

[Solved!] CPU Fan Error after cleaning up
Today I opened the case for the first time, and I cleaned around a bit. I didn't have compressed air, so I just cleaned the most obvious parts with one of those special tissues that don't leave little pieces (dry). Anyway, I didn't unplug anything...

RE: Do you hate the new Facebook layout??
Woot! Personally, I like both layouts, but I don't really care what the site looks like. It's not like I spend hours there.

RE: [SOLVED] PHP and table issues
It's not mandatory to use () for include(_once) and require(_once). [hr] Do you have any PHP code in the *.html files? If there's PHP code in them, make sure you created the correct AddHandler/AddType entries in the .htaccess file of the directory...

RE: Pitchou... is this alowed (Scripting)
Normally, developers tell their users to uninstall any previous versions before installing a new one, if there's a risk of conflict. And Plus! has already an interface to remove scripts. It's not complicated, and users are not as stupid as develope...

RE: Pitchou... is this alowed (Scripting)
That's a sure way to mess with those scripts that do something on initialize, or those that have timers for some action, etc. IMO, that's dodgy at best. I wouldn't like it if some script decided for me what to do with my other scripts. Surely, the...
