RE: CD driver why dont you buy one of those cd drive/player cleaners. they are cd's that have muisc on them and it has a little brush on the bottom on the cd which cleans the lens they arent expensive at all and they work extremely great. i have one from maxell...
RE: DVD drive make sure that the IDE cord and the power plug is conected tightly to the cd rom drive and the IDE cord is connected to the MoBo tightly.
