RE: Windows Vista
I may sound crazy, but "cheaper" is usually considered fact, and opinions aren't. So how can it be cheaper in your opinion? Unless in your opinion 4 is less than 3.

RE: Treat the forum like a real community
Angry? This is a Microsoft flavoured community! Of course they are angry, their antitrust lawsuit forces them to appear so. Also, don't use my reputation as a references, I am Svip, that is a million multiplier right there.

RE: What did you get for Christmas?!
@ Jimbodude: Office 2007? Failure. Me: Wii Remote, a Wii Nunchuck and a Wii Classical Controller (which I intend to exchange for another Wii Remote). Also some shotglass tic tac toe, a shirt, two CDs and a t-shirt. Oh and, Christmas for me ain't o...

RE: When did "You" stop believing in santa claus?
Santa Claus? That's segosa. So stop not believing in him. The only thing you believe is that he gives you presents. He just gives you the finger in reality.

RE: Your Most Hated/Liked Teacher
Yeah, he have taught me a think or two as well. HOWEVER, something tells me these things were exactly the same. My favourite teacher is myself. I have taught myself a lot of things by listening to other people. Way to go, ears. EDIT: Hah! I said...

RE: Post a Picture Of Yourself (Just The Pictures - keep the chat to the other thread!)
Everyone should have an ASCII image of themselves. I HATE YOU ALL. Please, I don't mean it. Enough, here is an ASCII image of me: :/ You didn't get it?! Hah, fail. Anyways, here is an image in the JPEG format taken of me in Real Life(tm) while ...

RE: MsgPlus! for Linux
Besides, Gaim kicks ass. After all, you get more than one protocol in one client, and all the features of the other clients plus more. EDIT: Shawnz: Communists are not evil enough to make plugins for Microsoft applications. NOW THAT IS EVIL. Don't...

RE: disable right click on website?
My point was mainly that, you may compare C and Python, as they are both programming languages, but you cannot compare a programming language with a markup language. But again, I am sorry to disappoint you, there really is no way to "disallow" you...

RE: disable right click on website?
No, it is in no way at all possible to hide the CSS from the user. If the browser have to reach it, the user will be able as well. These things are client sided, and thus all information send by the server can be used by the browser. Another reason...

RE: Favourite IM
Indeed, shawnz! And where is AIM? Hmmm? Or ICQ ( yes I know they run on the same protocol! )? This would have been more accurate: <shawnz> "What communication protocol do humans prefer?"

Yet more reasons why I don't use MSN Messenger 8, too many damn useless features, I just wanna IM with people, not annoy them to their death.

RE: Rant against good for nothing MS bashers.
The only real error is that you state the Firefox is based on Netscape ( which it is not ), Firefox is based on the Gecko engine, which is also created by the Mozilla Foundation. Firefox is therefore based on Mozilla, Firebird and Phoniex.

RE: Rant against good for nothing MS bashers.
Hey, you are forgetting something, Linux don't want to wipe out the market from Microsoft, as it knows that it currently can't ( because a lot of people are locked within Windows, because of programs/games only written for Windows ). So Linux just ...

RE: Rant against good for nothing MS bashers.
Wrong. Many server mainframes are using Linux instead of Windows, and using Linux viruses would cause a much more serious effect on the Internet, and thus giving the reason to make Linux viruses a much better reason instead of Windows viruses. Maybe...

RE: Internet Explorer 7: First Impressions?
"Safety" is how much access websites can get to your computer just by you viewing their page. As IE supports ActiveX and VB-Script, it makes it highly insecure, as ActiveX and VB-Script has a lot of errors and exploits, which means that people's ...

RE: Internet Explorer 7: First Impressions?
Once again you fail. Cause major companies around the world are changing to Linux, and oi! Does IE work under Linux? I thought so, I wouldn't be bothered trying to get IE to work under Linux, when I can choose between Firefox and Opera. Mmmm...

RE: Internet Explorer 7: First Impressions?
IE being safer than Firefox? Nah. It's just you falling under the arms of Microsoft's propaganda. IE7 does far from impress me, in fact, it just proves my point that Microsoft is bad for the world, because of their amateur programming, their lack o...
