RE: Update to Screenshot Sender 3 Beta - 3.0.555
All scripts have a trouble with Vista. To find details on how to get it to work properly, there are posts around there :) Cloudy

RE: [Release] Message Customizer! Live (Gradient)
Well I couldn't find any way to do it myself, but i'll take your word for it, I like to be prooven wrong ;) Good luck with the script :) Cloudy

RE: [Help] Changing Name before SIgn Out
Well it wouldn't be possible to get it to change just before it signs out by the normal method... because there isn't enough time to change the nickname. However it is possible to change the nickname THEN sign out using a script command ;) Cloudy

RE: default browser
Unfortuneately this isn't possible within the limits of the Messenger Plus! Live scripting system. It would require more than just a script, there would need to be a DLL to hook messenger itself. PS: Search before asking ;)

RE: [Release] FileServer Script v1.1.2
Ah sorry :$ I guess I thought it was for JScript because of this part ;)
JScript ________________________________ public class GZipStream extends Stream
RE: The open/closed window notifier feature
Well short of injection or hooking the messenger window, i'm out of ideas. It would be possible to overlay a message over the window however, in much the same way as it's done with the iTunes+ script. Not an ideal solution though... Cloudy

RE: [Request] Mass Spam
I tend to agree. The scripting system is so simple that you could make this script very easily. However, once you've made it, don't release it here, as it isn't welcome. Cloudy

RE: The open/closed window notifier feature
I'll repeat my earlier question as we are back on-topic ;) Cloudy Edit: @Cookie: Yeah you are right... Having lots of threads doesn't help and my responce was a bit strong. I just thought that by being in this thread it wouldn't get the recogniti...

Oh great, now it's been merged into a thread with alot of really strong banter. That is really gonna help this isn't it. 8-) Cloudy

RE: The open/closed window notifier feature
Nice one on the thread title... should have less hostility involved now :) On-Topic: Any luck on notifying the window yet nx01rules? Cloudy Edit: Cookie's post removed, so I removed the relavant bits.

RE: The open/closed window notifier feature
Well on some degree I must agree with Cookie. The things he says do need to be said as it is a very important to be said, and this script will affect the community as a whole - either positively or negatively - depending on what it is described as. C...

RE: The open/closed window notifier feature
@Cookie: I am well aware of the issues involved here. And whenever I do feel like I can help, I do. I've been a long time "lurker" ;) As for the merging, I think that is OK, as it could easily be discused within the topic of that thread. ...

RE: The open/closed window notifier feature
@GiantSpider: No offence, but hes obviously put alot of work into this. His aim was to create a WORKING (e.g. NOT a joke) Session notifier. I wouldn't consider it a waste of time, no matter how innacurate it is as a Window opened\closed notificatio...

RE: DATABASE?
Perhaps the small square could be a line break? Or an "end of field"? To find out what the little square is, output it to the debug console using debug.trace. Then you can use regexp to strip it out. Cloudy

RE: The open/closed window notifier feature
Edit: @Cookie: The title is fine as for the purpose it is intended(Plus, bluntly, it's his addon/script, up to him on the name). I agree that it is innacurate, but this can be explained in the post(perhaps with big red letters)as to why it isn't te...

RE: The open/closed window notifier feature
Posts seem to be disappearing like mad here... But regardless, the title is fine, as this is the thing people will be looking for. But maybe you could edit the first post and state that it is, in fact a session notifier at the beginning and state tha...

RE: [Request] Mass Spam
Making a script like this shouldn't be to hard to do... I know i've made one ;) Basically getting the arguements to a command using message.split(" ") and using the ChatWnd.Sendmessage to send the message. Cloudy

RE: [Release] FileServer Script v1.1.2
Most people use zip however, and the ability to read them is built into Windows ME and above. Also, as the files most people will be sharing is MP3's, Compression doesn't matter anyway. @Pai: I think there might be methods built into JScript for c...

As far as I know the Gradient Background is a new feature of Plus Live! ? By Gradient background is meant this: If it is a feature unique to Live! then it can't be done for Plu...

RE: The open/closed window notifier feature
Well you could interface it with a script in Messenger Plus Live! perhaps? They have a toast function. In order to get an event to be triggered in the script, -dt- has an interesting workaround here: http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthrea...

RE: Should the auto-hey and auto-Im-Ok scripts work with ? or !
Well without the script and how you changed it we can't really help you. I'm not sure, but maybe in a conversation with 2 people the origin doesn't work properly... I think I remember reading something about that but don't take it as gospel truth...

RE: [Release] Message Customizer! Live (Gradient)

RE: [Beta Release] Myspace + NOW WITH MSAGENT!
I think what UTI suggested about a toast for no new messages is a good idea... Maybe when the script is first started, or first logged in rather (or on messenger sign in...), it pops up a toast saying you have no new messages? Just a thought ;) Cloud...
