RE: mssvcnes.exe
Thanks but I accessed the registry and none of these entries contained the file so there was nothing to delete. I'll try rebooting in safe mode and trying everything again. Thanks for your time.

RE: mssvcnes.exe
Hi, yeah I found that forum by doing a google and it didn't seem particularly clear. I have located the file and it's in Windows/Prefetch. Don't know what that means. I have done a spyware scan and am currently in the process of a full Norton scan...

mssvcnes.exe
Every time I, or any other user of this computer, log on to my/their area I get a warning sound. The original log-on screen then freezes. To escape the freeze I have to ctrl-alt-del and this takes me to my desktop. However, I then get a warning box s...

RE: Display Picture Manager
Message for Destruction. Firstly, sorry to hear about having to reformat your computer and losing so much (was looking forward to Personality Messenger:)). Ok to the point. I have had a quick read of this thread and was just enquiring about that prog...

Comet Systems Adware
Pretty much every time I boot up the computer Microsoft Antispyware alerts me that Comet Systems Adware is trying to install. I therefore select 'remove' and it sends it to quarantine. I then permanently remove it from there. However, when I reboot...

RE: WMP Colour Changer
Thanks for the reply...I was beginning to think nobody was interested! Yeah I know how to change it in version 10 (as mentioned in my post) already, but it would just be easier if it was returned to its former method IMO.

Running Plus!
Just a quick enquiry... If for whatever ever reason I have had to end the process of Plus! in Task Manager, how can i get it running again without having to go through the installation process?

WMP Colour Changer
In version 9 of WMP the colour changer came in the same form as for Messenger Windows (the simple icon in the corner). In version 10 it is now in the enhancements menu and colours must be selected from the sliding scale. The process in version 9 was ...

RE: msgdiscovery x final!!!!!
So what happens if we uninstalled it before the warning? I haven't noticed any problems apart from when I log off of my user area it pops up with the 'Closing Program' box with the option to 'End Now' for a process called 'Commands'. Is this a...

RE: Internet Explorer toolbars
Well I just read this thread through and thought I'd check to see if the Google toolbar had any errors like you describe and now everything is working properly. Crazy:o)

Small suggestion
Is it possible to somehow enable us to see what threads we have contributed to when just browsing through individual forums as it is easy to forget. Perhaps this could be through a small icon on the left side next to the small page icon.

RE: MP! IM window toolbar
That's good that you will add the option. However, is it not a bit pointless unless the selection is 'actually' transparent and not white. If custom backgrounds are set then white would look ugly (as would any other colour). Is it possible to make...

RE: help me choose
I used to use Avast before I got Norton. It worked well and automatically updated. It ran in the background so half the time I didn't know it was there. Had some dodgy skins though which made it look more like a music player than a av software*-)

I don't know if you have many winks, custom emoticons (especially animated ones) or dynamic display pictures etc. but if you do try uninstalling them all and see if that helps. My MSN acted quite similar to yours quite recently and realised it was d...
