RE: File blocking is stupid No. It's on the receiving end. This theory is impossible. I just rename them and put some random letter inside the extension like "file.efxe". Most of my contacts are smart enough to know how to rename files. It doesn't bother me much at all. | segosa | Skype & Live Messenger | 04-10-2005 at 04:15 PM |
RE: MsgPlus modifying how messenger handles links? Which does not work correctly. Even if you click the space before or after, it seems to think that's part of the URL and launches it. It's almost impossible then to select and copy the link. | segosa | WLM Plus! General | 04-08-2005 at 08:15 PM |

MsgPlus modifying how messenger handles links? A friend of mine wanted me to post this. He wants to know whether MsgPlus can modify the way Messenger handles hotlinks. i.e. right now it's incredibly hard to select & copy one because it seems to like automatically visiting the url even if you don... | segosa | WLM Plus! RE: stupid I.E. IE doesn't support PNG transparency, if you're talking about the messed up colours around the image. | segosa | Tech Talk | 04-05-2005 at 09:45 PM |
RE: What sort of a girl/boy do U go for? Everyone says "ugly" without thinking what it actually means. People don't realise that no-one is ugly. The only thing that makes "ugly" is your mind. To you one woman is a "dog" yet to another guy she may be very pretty. There's someone for... | segosa | General Chit Chat | 04-05-2005 at 07:59 PM |

RE: MsgPlus Sound Pack Extractor Indeed. There was another thread about it but I can't find it anymore. Patchou also said that he didn't want anything contacting the sound server apart from MsgPlus. :p | segosa | WLM Plus! General | 04-02-2005 at 06:39 AM |

RE: @msgplus.net e-mail down? Apologies. I thought something was suspicious as when I tested my other pop3 account it didn't work also. I tried telnetting to the ports and it did not work. RE: Windows Security Test Err, no. a) Automatic updates are turned on b) I won't be affected by a remote exploit (router+firewall) c) I don't use IE, the biggest target of exploits. d) Whatever else may get hacked most likely doesn't affect me. RE: linux command line install maker needed Then either the author makes a bloody installer, or the plugin doesn't get accepted. :dodgy: | segosa | Plug-Ins | 03-31-2005 at 03:09 PM |
@msgplus.net e-mail down? I can't seem to receive e-mails on my @msgplus.net address. There's no error, just nothing. Nor can I send using the eq-sys SMTP server. I've not heard about this from anyone, so I'm posting here. Anyone else having problems? :/ | segosa | WLM Plus! General | 03-30-2005 at 07:21 AM |

RE: Adware and Spyware Well not really. A virus is what does that. Spyware sends data back to the servers which include browsing habits, and what you type into search engines. Nothing like credit card numbes or passwords. | segosa | Tech Talk | 03-29-2005 at 05:36 PM |
