Bricked PSP After 2 hours of trying to install a custom firmware on my little brothers PSP Slim (and succeeding) he managed to brick it within 5 minutes. Now I used the pandoras battery trick before to install the firmware but I have already converted the batter...
RE: New PC..Thoughts... 512mb of ram on a gfx card is plenty and if he plans on getting a bigger monitor later on then 512mb of ram will be needed to run games at higher resolutions alot more efficiently. Yes this gfx card will work with his mobo.

RE: New PC..Thoughts... What do you plan on using the computer for..? If you want to play games on it pay a little more for a better graphics card.. The 3850 go for around $200-250 and perform very decent for that price. (y)
RE: Is this a good computer? They should try turning on AF. Edit: They also chose the games that the 8600gt does well in. Go look at a few other reviews and you will see that the 8600gt is a POS that can barely beat a cheaper card in games it has been optimized for.
