RE: USB 3.0 - Oo
I think you'll be looking at thumb drives that use 2 (or more) hard drives in RAID or something similar to maximise the potential. The same when going back to your computer as well. You can also run VERY high quality video through it as well and i...

RE: USB 3.0 - Oo
In comparison, a CD is about 700MB and we all know how long it takes to read/write one of them, this would do the same amount of data in just ver a second. Or a DVD in under 8 seconds or a DL BlueRay disk in about 84seconds. Not bad by any means. ...

RE: Tabbed Chats' switch between tabs buttons too small
You can always use Ctrl+Tab to cycle through for the time being. I'm sure that Patchou will look over this with the new UI for 4.50

RE: Forum Idea.
Wow, thats one of the best posts I have seen from you. I agree 100% about everything you said and that is the justification I would give as well. (Y)

RE: Sound Library window's size (vertical) has a problem
Have you tried this without your custom skin to make sure it is a bug and not because of some specific circumstances to do with other things on your computer?

RE: Computer name of a messenger contact
Not unless they have installed a script to give you that kind of information. This is classed as an invasion of privacy and hence why such a thing is not supported.

RE: [problem] Buttons in windows
The only time I find I run into that problem is that the variable is not a string or an array. These are the two most common causes to my knowledge. Try debuging the variable just before the if statement to check. You may also wish to re-code your...

RE: Windows Live Messenger 9.0 wish list
For them to make the features they currently have a lot better. This includes chat logging, displaying of contacts in contact list, and just other things like this. I would also like to be able to have my messenger run faster by disabling some featu...

RE: [problem] Buttons in windows
I don't see how that even makes sense (just look at the logic).... :P Anyway, just so you are aware I realised that it was beyond what you probably would understand at the moment, however this was more for the likes of roflmao and other scripters s...

RE: [Release] Secure Chat
Or you could just check when a / is used at the beginning of the line (but not //) and just automatically not encrypt it to make it easier on the user.

RE: [problem] Buttons in windows
Wow that's really stupid and makes me love regular expressions even more. Especially the fact that they use the string as the object and find macthes withing it. Though I must admit that it then does get confusing trying to remember which way exec ...

RE: Scripts not independant of accounts...
That's true but it is not hard to write something small to convert it and it shouldn't effect the runnig of any script (unless they have been silly and edit the reg key for some reason).

RE: Scripts not independant of accounts...
What about in the registry, istead of using "Enabled" how about the MSN ID. If the ID doesnt exist then it will be created for that script but set to disabled (zero).By using the MSNID it adds a little security to the system (I know its still a ha...

RE: Gmail Drive
I would expect so. All it does is take your email and password to use your account as a drive and if you login with the same info then you should have no problems.

I think he wants a 1337 converter to work when he is typig rather than when the message is sent. What you want to do in the area that you are unsure of is use the following code. [code]ChatWnd.EditText_ReplaceSel("4");//Insert 4 where the caret is ...

RE: "Only" 1000 Contacts allowed
If you want to send messages to a large group of people then I suggest using email lists and keeping IM for instant support, this is how I would personally deal with this. It also seems to be common practise just to use some kind of ticketting sstem...

other way around. because you use a usb to power it rather than a powerpoint you should have no worries at all, its just the shipping which is your only concern.

RE: New Computer/Laptop
The biggest problem with games on laptops is either their graphics card isnt good or the fact that they use a slower HDD than in a desktop (which is a major contributor to slow speed in PCs).
