RE: Taking away display names is HORRIBLE.
It's probably due to Windows Live Hotmail automatically signing in when you check your e-mail. Does your computer have an option to choose the B.E. calendar though? I suspect not....so it will be understanding that date as being 2554, as in 543 years in the future, which could cause software to have issues. That version doesn't ask you to update, I just installed it myself. As Mnjul suggested, undo the reshacking and then allow it to do the update, it doesn't install WLM 2011, just an updated version of 2009.....Messenger Plus!
