RE: [Help] Group bars
Use the <Metadata> tag for your picture in your SkinInfo.xml, it handles stretching and colorization. More information about the tag in the skinning documentation, good luck!

RE: [REQUEST] Skin based on a friends design
Looks pretty nice, here's some suggestions: 1. Change color on the PSM-text and Wordwheel-text to the same one used on "Email" and "Password" on the sign-in window. This is because it's hard to read it (very light gray) without having to concen...

RE: Skinning Suggestions
1. I don't blame the skinners for not making any Messenger Plus! skins, as it requires a lot of time, and most standard users doesn't care about it (but I do). I also think that this is the reason why no Messenger Plus! skins has been submitted or ...

RE: Nudge script help
Don't use 8.1, it's an old version, and is probably not supported by the script because it uses fixed offsets which depend on the Messenger version. I think the version is too old, you can get a newer one from http://messenger.live.com

RE: Is it possible to add custom 'commands'?
If you know programming, just apply a hook onto the contact list or whatever window you added the button to, then in your callback function just look for the WM_COMMAND message, and check if the ID matches the CmdId attribute the <button> has (for ex...

RE: Skinning Suggestions
Why would it be hard to implement? Scripting is already implemented in Messenger Plus! At least it would be easier than most features suggested nowadays. :)

Skinning Suggestions
I have two skinning-suggestions which I think would be pretty neat to have. 1. Before it's too late, it would be very handy to split up Messenger skins and Messenger Plus! skins. This is because almost no skins actually skin Messenger Plus! windows,...

RE: [Preview] My half-finished skin
The built-in colorization-function should work, but I don't know if he will include other "themes" accessible from the settings-window.

RE: Conversation Font Size in Windows Vista
If the same thing happens when you don't have Plus! installed, that means it's a bug in Windows Live Messenger, not in Plus!. Patchou could still fix this bug in no time with his hooks.

RE: Can skins make windows live messenger faster?
Same thing. The ad will load and do what it normally does, but will not be printed out to the contact list element, because you removed the element.

RE: [Help] Plus! 4.60 Notifications and Skins
The question isn't how, it's already in the skinning documentation, the problem is that nobody uses it in their skins.

RE: Can skins make windows live messenger faster?
I would say this depends from skin to skin. If your skin is using huge images or a lot of semi-transparent stuff, it may take longer for Windows Live Messenger to paint than just white background and some text. But I think you cannot notice the diffe...

Why does Yahoo! need 300+ bots on these forums anyway?

RE: [Help] Plus! 4.60 Notifications and Skins
The Plus! notifications doesn't use the same resources as Windows Live Messenger does. So replacing Messenger's notification won't do any changes to the Plus! notification. The Plus! skinning feature supports skin to replace Plus! resources, but h...

RE: Modify Messenger Plus!'s scripting API so that ALL scripts work on both XP/Vista
[b]Riahc4:[/b] People doesn't use Vista because it's "best". It's much less stable than XP, but it's new and is everywhere, newspapers, ads etc. Probably 50% of the users use Vista because it got included with their PC when they bought it. I kn...

Hopefully, but these are images and there isn't a easy way to colorize them on the fly (without reloading the image).

That is because that blockchecker is way old and outdated, maybe I should do a new one someday just for fun.

RE: Scripts?
Read my post again. If it does say that the contact is online, you are blocked, 100% accurate. But if it doesn't, you cannot know, and this is way better than nothing.
