RE: help plzz (using Messenger v7.5)
If you followed that thread, you should not have that issue. However, I recommend you change the version number to something more recent (perhaps around 8.5.1302.1018, following the format in that thread).

RE: I can't believe it! Microsoft temporary took down my site!
What matters is what country the service (aka the hoster, Dreamhost) is located. How the disclaimer is written is up to you, but visitors of that page (service) would have to abide by those "rules" / terms of use, to use the service. So, in one wa...

RE: I can't believe it! Microsoft temporary took down my site!
Sorry, but that's not even remotely close to be labeled as a disclaimer. That single line is just saying that all content belongs to their respective owners. Now, I'm no lawyer. No lawyer at all, but in terms of owner, the comments belong to the s...

RE: I can't believe it! Microsoft temporary took down my site!
Even though I can understand your feeling about the fact that your website got cut off because of a comment, Microsoft had their right to do so. There wasn't even a disclaimer on msgstuff.com. I recommend you get a decent disclaimer on the site, as ...

RE: Interesting facts about yourself
This is a tricky one, but I'll try to sum something up. :o - I've almost drowned 7 times, yet I love to swim. - I (like others here) talk way too much IRL. - I can eat loads of food, but my weight has barely changed during the last years. I like...

RE: [split] Microsoft Silverlight
Believe it or not, but Silverlight isn't a bad product. If you look at the programmers side, making something in Silverlight can be rather easy, atleast with the "Visual Studio". Also, on the designers side it's easier to integrate your designs....

RE: see if you're on someone list

RE: Give me sugestion: Widgets or Desktop Sidebar???
I'm without doubt, Widgets. I've had a far better experience with them than the sidebar. In my case, the sidebas been a huge memory hog, simply slowing things down. Also, I find there to be a better repository of widgets for the widget engine.

RE: A question about MSN remote desktop
To do that, you need to use Windows built-in extern desktop. Start > All programs > Accessories > Communication (I think) > Remote desktop connection Sorry 'bout that, I have a tendency to swap certain words.

You might find this interesting. http://www.tomshardware.com/2007/10/09/directx_10_ shootout/ But I'd recommend you to think about what you are going to use it for. If you're more of the type that like good quality, ATI is the right route, however, ...

RE: [Request] Close properly on esc
Sounds like the same to me. A solution with some simple commands would be simple enouge, or a more heavy shortcut. Even better, get a macro app and set it up.

A usable GUI for NSIS or a diffrent packaging system
Hi again. ;o I'll tell it shortly, I have a project that I need a usable installer for, and what I found first was NSIS. It's a rather nice install system, but there's no simple way of adding loads of files to a project, or a script, as said. Now,...
