RE: Exporting to common filetypes in PS CS3 [s]It's a 32 bit channel, when I click Save As it just has these:[/s] EDIT: Fixed. (8 bits per channel doesn't hurt the bit depth, right?) | ryxdp | Tech Talk | 09-22-2007 at 10:12 PM |
Exporting to common filetypes in PS CS3 I'm trying to export a project to BMP, JPEG or PNG etc to edit in Paint.NET, but it doesn't have it listed. Is there like some sort of plugin/extension/etc. that I can get to allow me to do this? Thanks in advance etc. blah blah... :D | ryxdp | Tech Talk | 09-22-2007 at 09:32 AM |
RE: Got school laptop, but its restricted.. I should point out one thing here, even if it contributes nothing, because I seem to be the only one who thinks it's worth reading. You can refreeze the HDD with DeepUnfreezer. All this guy has to do is make a note of the system state before he unfr... | ryxdp | Tech Talk | 09-14-2007 at 10:36 PM |
RE: "odd" stuff in biosinfo.inf C:\Windows\ServicePackFiles\i386\biosinfo.inf And nor am I an idiot, I just happen to have certain limits to my knowledge. :) | ryxdp | Tech Talk | 09-09-2007 at 01:56 AM |
RE: "odd" stuff in biosinfo.inf That's exactly my point. I haven't a clue. Please keep in mind not all people have the same amount of knowledge as you. | ryxdp | Tech Talk | 09-09-2007 at 01:16 AM |
RE: "odd" stuff in biosinfo.inf These names sound like machine names (eg. you would call your PC "the home PC" etc.). The stuff just looked a bit unusual in there but I think I've got it now thanks to andrewdodd13. | ryxdp | Tech Talk | 09-09-2007 at 12:50 AM |
"odd" stuff in biosinfo.inf I was looking at my biosinfo.inf file (don't ask why) and i found stuff like this: It looks interesting as it seems (to me) to be a list of all the computers that needed repairs or something. It probably isn't, but I was just wondering what it is ... | ryxdp | Tech Talk | 09-08-2007 at 11:01 PM |
RE: computer problems Look at your CPU usage and processes while this is happening and see if a particular process is causing the problem. This probably isn't the case but you never know (plus it's the only thing I can think of). | ryxdp | Tech Talk | 09-08-2007 at 05:13 AM |
RE: computer tv hook up situation That's what it's like on my TV :( | ryxdp | Tech Talk | 09-01-2007 at 10:08 PM |
RE: computer tv hook up situation If your Graphics card has an S-Vid output, use it. It doesn't look like the VGA is working. If the TV has an "AV" button on it somewhere, press it a few times to make sure it's not on the wrong input. | ryxdp | Tech Talk | 09-01-2007 at 08:13 AM |
RE: Case identification OK, thanks. The case is empty, and the psu's had it, so I'm looking around for a mATX psu. And MenthiX, the QPC logo shown on the case doesn't match up with the site's logo. Thanks anyway. :) | ryxdp | Tech Talk | 08-31-2007 at 10:26 PM |
RE: "Network Cable Unplugged" IIRC, PS2 doesn't have wifi. | ryxdp | Tech Talk | 08-31-2007 at 05:05 AM |
Case identification I need help identifying and getting information on this case. I've googled and googled, but I couldn't find anything. All I have to go on is the brand "QPC". So if anyone knows anything on this case, it would be appreciated. :) | ryxdp | Tech Talk | 08-31-2007 at 04:38 AM |
RE: firefox question IIRC Firefox uses the same folder as IE for caching temporary files. I'm not too sure though... | ryxdp | Tech Talk | 08-12-2007 at 07:50 AM |
RE: Collecting Intel CPUs (Y) The problem is how the CPU's can be delivered. If only objects could be transferred on the interwebs...sigh... I'll figure something out. | ryxdp | Tech Talk | 08-12-2007 at 07:05 AM |
RE: WLM The application failed to initialize properly 0xc0000022 Are you a system administrator? If not, then there's your problem: You don't have the right permissions to access MSVBVM60.DLL (Which, apparently, is a needed file for WLM.) I would think that even if you were on a limited account you'd still be a... | ryxdp | Skype & Live Messenger | 08-12-2007 at 06:52 AM |

RE: Collecting Intel CPUs Keychain? hehe. The only one small enough to put on a keychain is the celeron. And anyway, the pins would bend/break. Bleh. | ryxdp | Tech Talk | 08-12-2007 at 03:35 AM |
RE: Collecting Intel CPUs I would guess, then, that nobody else has "the largest collection of Intel CPUs" etc. I half-heartedly want to have the largest (or if not that then a large) collection of Intel CPUs. | ryxdp | Tech Talk | 08-12-2007 at 03:17 AM |
RE: Collecting Intel CPUs I would imagine it does, because I'm currently blaming the failure of it being in my new PC on the motherboard, which I've now destroyed by ripping all the capacitors off it. (I must say, it was kinda fun too) | ryxdp | Tech Talk | 08-12-2007 at 02:46 AM |
Collecting Intel CPUs I've started collecting Intel CPUs. So far I have: A80286-8, "286-8", 8MHz, PGA 68-pin Socket Pentium, "P54CQS", 133MHz, Socket 7 Pentium II, "Deschutes", 400MHz, Slot 1 Pentium II, "Deschutes", 350MHz, Slot 1 Pentium III, "Coppermine", 86... | ryxdp | Tech Talk | 08-12-2007 at 02:38 AM |

Cookies in firefox How do I block all cookies but keep certain ones in firefox, eg. * - Block www.thepiratebay.org - Allow (need this for language select - I don't speak dutch.) shoutbox.menthix.net - Allow etc, etc. What I want to know is, will the "*" block all co... | ryxdp | Tech Talk | 08-11-2007 at 11:22 PM |
RE: Windows Vista restarts computer unexpectedly.. ...and even windows notifications can be faked (most likely, anyway), a simple C++, C#, VB and most other coding platforms can do it. | ryxdp | Tech Talk | 08-11-2007 at 07:29 AM |
RE: IDE HDD limitations I think the easiest way for me is to just install SP2 and PartitionMagic then merge the two parts together. Thanks anyway :) | ryxdp | Tech Talk | 08-04-2007 at 11:16 PM |
