RE: Sound Problem
The only thing I can think of now is that your card doesn't work. Unless you can prove that wrong :P

RE: Sound Problem
Try plugging in some other speakers or headphones (if you have any). Also see if it's not just muted (weird, after a reformat, but you never know...) It may be your sound card. Find out if it's actually recognised.

RE: bgsvcgen.exe?

RE: What's wrong?
The command prompt only runs stuff if it's running as well, for example, try running ipconfig.exe (C:\WINDOWS\System32) without the command prompt running. It should do the same as what your program does. Now try opening command prompt and typing ...

RE: delete programs through windows explorer
- If you delete it, the links will still be there, but remove as many as you can. - If you reinstall it over the top (as recommended :P), I don't believe much would happen to harm or disturb the system, except maybe if you're not admin or have cert...

RE: 4.1 speakers/headdies
Then what is the point of supporting surround sound on this card?
ryxdpTech Talk04-11-2007 at 10:17 PM
RE: 4.1 speakers/headdies
1). I don't have a surround track OR a test pattern... 2). I will try that, thank you. 3). Headphones/keyboard is working, I used to have both keyboard and speakers on the green socket using a splitter (Aussies call it a double adapter :P). The volu...
