RE: [Preview] My half-finished skin
I like it. It gives the feel it's very "flat" if you know what I mean (just looking around the edges of the windows might explain what I mean). Looking forward to further improvements. :)

Formatting Name Glitches
I've reported this before but it was either ignored disregarded or something I forget it was a while ago so I'll do it again with some screenshots this time. This is a conversation with my friend. http://img137.imageshack.us/my.php?image=lucy1hd8. j...

RE: An attempt to stop skin ripping
What if rules were explicitly stated in the skinning how-to's as well as in the instructions of how to upload your skin? You can't say they wern't warned.

RE: An attempt to stop skin ripping
That would work to some extent, but there's still the option of copying it manually. Takes a lot longer but is a lot easier than learning how to do everything yourself. Also what if the xml file was opened on a different operating system which does...

RE: An attempt to stop skin ripping
See I don't agree with that because by looking at the skininfo.xml file you can actually learn how to skin yourself, they are a valuable resource to novice and developing skinners.

RE: An attempt to stop skin ripping
The problem is that would (most likely) be in the xml file - but the person who is ripping the resources may just extract them from the skin and insert them into the one they are building, rendering the xml file that's been "copy written" useless...

RE: Checking if someone nudges you?
Offtopic: If you don't know how to read the code this would be an excellent place to start to develop your skills (if you're interested). You don't have to understand what every single statement means and does, but as long as you can understand wh...

RE: Cant open 2(or more) messengers in Vista
I'm guessing your messenger is set to sign in automatically. When opening another messenger this pretty much means it's going to sign in again, resulting in your already signed in messenger signing out. To solve this either lunge for the contact li...

RE: Is Firefox better than IE for businesses? [old thread warning]
We use Firefox and IE. Firefox is set as default so it's got a shortcut up the start menu. Strangely enough though, there are people who go hunting for IE purely because they think it's gone missing (mustn't know what Firefox is I guess...)

RE: An attempt to stop skin ripping
Hmm somehow I don't think this will stop people from skin ripping - however it may stop a few. I myself might be guilty of "skin ripping" - if I'm using a skin I like but there are several resources which I find a bit dodgy I may go to the effort...

RE: who can create a skin for me?? please help me :(
Will not or don't want to more like it. :P Skinning may seem daunting at first but it's actually relatively easy once you master the basics. All I've done is read the Plus! skinning help file and a few of Willz' tutorials - all I can do is repla...

RE: 7 reasons the world will end in 2012
That's not the best way to look at things. We have to go the hard yards because they (governments) don't want to. If we all start doing things and they refuse to budge they will be the ones who will have the pressure put onto them and be forced to...

I wasn't saying you said it wasn't real I was just stating my own personal experience, as well as the fact it's very possible we could've caused it in a very short time frame.

RE: 7 reasons the world will end in 2012
Actually considering the population of earth and if you actually watch smoke come out of a truck IN REAL LIFE you realize how scary and disgusting it is, and it becomes evident this is real and how it can and has happened in such a "short" period o...

RE: BURNING DVDS HELP PLEASE
I don't necessarily think they are the "best", but just seem to be a well known brand which seem to work well for people a lot of the time. These imation disks right in front of me could be the best, but are they sold at every single shop and are...

Yeah I figured there was something dodgy about what I said, it was a bit of a vague memory so he probably did say something else along those lines of what you've mentioned

How? Did they specify what year the pope would be elected? How many popes it would be until then? etc.

Trying to fix it manually is often difficult and time consuming, so I would go for the fresh install. However this time you install it, unplug any cables or perepheral devices you might have (this includes an ethernet cable!) Also leave the network y...

Make sure anyone with Nvideo secures a copy of XP before it's taken away for good:O(if you haven't already) just in case the problem isn't patched up in time.

RE: Virus!? Please help!
Yes some of the viruses actually do seem to magically disappear without a trace but I hardly believe that is the case. It's likely if it disappeared like that it would've left some sort of footprint behind still causing subtle damage.
