okay I emailed Microsoft: and the reply was that my cache file was corrupted and opted me to delete it and let WLM re-download it again ! I did, and the same problem occured. Technically speaking: yes IT IS POSSIBLE. Direct connections are always being established between you and your contact, when a display picture, for example is updated. Yes its always been happening since I upgraded from 7.5 to 8.0! Btw, I NEVER used the beta version of 8.0, I upgraded straight away to the final version. This is becoming frustrating actually.
