RE: Roll back
The current one is 5.02, so you're probably looking for the 5.01 release.

RE: Best IM for iPhone/iPod
I use Trillian on Android, which used to be paid but recently made free. Has some good features, and I know there's an iPhone version (dunno if that's been made free yet, though).

RE: [?] MediaMonkey scripting ActiveXObject...
Turns out those instructions only fixed it temporarily... the problem appears to be back after about a week or so of it working. I'll have to experiment with it and see what I can find.

RE: [?] MediaMonkey scripting ActiveXObject...
Yeah, just did a few searches and found something telling me to do that... Seems to be working now, thanks.

RE: [?] MediaMonkey scripting ActiveXObject...
Thing is, though... to make MediaMonkey portable, you just move the config file from the user's AppData folder to the application folder - it always writes to a file, regardless of being portable or not. And I ran it once first before making it p...

[?] MediaMonkey scripting ActiveXObject...
I've recently switched from iTunes to MediaMonkey, after iTunes kept crashing and refusing to close and stuff. Seems MediaMonkey also has a scripting system, so I thought I'd experiment with it a bit. Unfortunately, I can't get any further than t...

Note: this question relates to using the XMLDom ActiveXObject with an HTML Application, although this effect also occurs with standalone JScript, and I assume with Plus! scripting as well. I'm trying to load an XML file that looks som...

DevPlus - script testing/debug add-on...
A little something I wrote to help me with testing certain things in scripts. The ZIP folder has two files - DevPlus.js and DevPlus.xml. Place both files in the root of the script you want to use it with, then reload the script. A toolbar will appe...

Gah, thought I was missing something simple... :P What is the difference between them, anyway? Do they handle parameters differently or something?

I suppose this is a bit off topic, but does the automatic update system not work any more? I'm still on Plus! 5.01, and /checkupdates says I'm on the latest version...

RE: deleting and re-adding
From what I heard, both contacts must invite each other, after which they automatically become friends. However, I added my test account on one of my others, and after a few minutes, the test account contact list showed "you have 1 invitation", so ...

RE: Making "Commands".
You can use OnGetScriptCommands() to return an XML list of commands, and then OnEvent_ChatWndSendMessage() to capture the event of the user sending the message.

RE: Script That Allows PSM automatic Changer
The Name and PSM properties can't be set in WLM 2011 via scripting because of the changes to the Messenger protocol. Nicknames don't technically exist in WLM 2011, and personal message support was also removed because of the way it would post ever...

RE: [beta] Voicemail 1.0 (released 12/08/2011)
Okay, an update on this: I've implemented the shake feature with a compatibility mode. By default, it uses Cookie's code, but if that doesn't work, check the 'Broken' option to set X and Y to 0 (instead of the relative position of the window).....

RE: strange error message upon adding a contact?
So it's just the one contact you can't add... Have you got another IM program you can try it on? Can you add them through another method (e.g. on the Windows Live Profile site)?

RE: deleting and re-adding
Not exactly though, since surely only the other contact can send you messages - you can't send them anything if you're appearing offline to them...

RE: Add yourself to contact list
I still have myself on my contact list, but I added myself using WLM 2009, and it has remained since I started using WLM 2011. If you still have access to an older version of Messenger, try adding yourself on there. Otherwise, it's not possible to...

RE: [?] navigator.appVersion with BrowserControl
I've noticed this before... I had IE8 on my old PC, but the browser object still acted like IE7. Also, on XP, if you make a website-based toolbar (right-click taskbar > Toolbars > New... > enter a URL) and use the same statement, it comes up as IE...

Don't think you can... unless you re-add them to Messenger, then unblock them. Or start a conversation from the actions menu, and then try unblocking them.

RE: Trying to get a "hazy" display name
Yeah, I doubt there's a way of doing it. :^) As far as I have heard, Messenger only stores the theme colour and scene as options, so the haze effect must be applied internally by Messenger based on the colour choice.
whizSkype & Live Messenger05-22-2011 at 11:41 AM
RE: Trying to get a "hazy" display name
I think the haze effect is dependant on your theme colour, not the scene. To get the effect like in your screenshot, choose a light colour so that text becomes black with a white haze...
