RE: Different accounts, different resolution. is there really a purpose to that? By default windows only shows a logon screen on a single monitor, black on the other. (XP, not sure about Vista). If you really wanted to you could switch your profile back to a mirrored setup on exit. | lizard.boy | Tech Talk | 11-17-2007 at 10:36 PM |
RE: Which actually HURTS? Well, both can hurt, but i'm pretty sure what you're going to feel ultimately is the voltage, which is why tazers use thousands of volts and minuscule amounts of amperage. However, it doesn't take much amperage across the heart to kill you. | lizard.boy | Tech Talk | 10-13-2007 at 05:26 PM |

RE: Environmental Survey I drive everywhere, it's easier and faster. Then again i live in a Canadian suburb.. nothing is really close. I would totally love to drive an all electric conversion though. (ie, rip the engine out of a gas driven car, and replace it with a big ass... | lizard.boy | General Chit Chat | 10-06-2007 at 06:08 PM |
RE: [Request] Name it what you want. If by MDL you mean Messenger Discovery Live, I belive it acts as a proxy between you and the messenger servers, and is able to intercept and send messages through the proxy. | lizard.boy | Scripting | 08-28-2007 at 10:08 PM |
RE: Building a Media PC / Network storage That is why not a C2D system. If you go with mini ITX, the motherboard is extremely tiny, and everything is integrated. They also only use about 60-120 watts of power. The form factor and power usage are why Verte is praising mini ITX over a C2D. | lizard.boy | Tech Talk | 08-28-2007 at 02:40 PM |
RE: Building a Media PC / Network storage For network storage, at least at 10/100 speeds, speed isn't quite that important, the problem with Raid 0 is you have twice the chance of failure. As much as I'm a huge fan of the mini-ITX form factor, I'll be the first to admit it's defiantly n... | lizard.boy | Tech Talk | 08-28-2007 at 05:20 AM |
RE: Didn't/Haven't... Spelling Help Needed! I think you mean potential. ;) I also think you're right, it's a pretty darn good song. | lizard.boy | General Chit Chat | 08-16-2007 at 10:45 PM |
RE: Is this pc worth its price? Aye, but cheap Dells (etc) also includes a $200 windows license (I know you can get it cheaper, or pirate it, but I'm making a point.) They also usually comes with tech support and a warranty. Nobody is saying that you can't build a PC on a budget... | lizard.boy | Tech Talk | 07-31-2007 at 09:22 PM |
RE: Is this pc worth its price? I honestly have to disagree. Building a computer yourself is better if you're into that kind of thing or if you are looking for quality. Only once you get into higher end components can you save money building a PC yourself, since OEMs can get larg... | lizard.boy | Tech Talk | 07-31-2007 at 12:36 AM |

RE: Better Motherboard? Mnjul touched on the subject of overclocking. However, Intel board do not allow overclocking. I would honestly suggest looking elsewhere if you want to overclock, otherwise take the Intel over the Asrock. RE: Better Motherboard? Because Asrock is a low-end budget brand, and Intel's boards are some of the more reliable ones you can get. I'm not saying you should buy the Intel board, since ymmv. | lizard.boy | Tech Talk | 07-06-2007 at 03:09 AM |
RE: Core 2 Duo ? Lies, AMD's offerings kicked Intel for awhile, but now with C2D Intel is defiantly back on top. | lizard.boy | Tech Talk | 07-05-2007 at 11:41 PM |

RE: Scripting IRC (Chat) Channel One important thing to remember about irc channels or forums, is that even if someone reads your question, it doesn't necessarily mean that they know what the answer is. RE: Office 2007 and 2003 Compatability That would be my suggestion for a little while until Office 2007 is dominant in the environments you work in. RE: Which OS is better? BWAHAHAHA. Sorry. I just spent all day trying to configure a trackpad under Linux. Forgive me. Windows is my Desktop OS of choice, but i still like using Mac. Linux is awesome for my server but I'm not so fond of it in a desktop environment. | lizard.boy | Tech Talk | 06-28-2007 at 01:09 AM |
RE: Locking Personal Message What Cookie said about locking your computer is also a very valid point, and can stop them from messing with other things when they can't mess with your Messenger or PSM. RE: Why I cannot use the preferences settings of older version(v3.6)?? Unfortunately, the custom names feature of Msgplus! 3 has been left out. The reason is that Windows Live Messenger comes with a feature to rename your contacts. I don't think there's any way to transfer your settings. | lizard.boy | WLM Plus! RE: [request] Time-Changing PSM Would it be possible to add a "once" option? Make an event happen once and then remove its self. Perhaps I could make a some recommendations for your dialog.
