Personally I think that it would be very helpfull if the forum had a Quick Reply & Edit Button like the Msgshit Forum.

It does? well I dunno if it's like msgshits forum (shitty site really)... but on the bottom of the thread there is a quick reply... and by your post there is an edit button (no quick edit though)...
quick edit would be nice WDZ

Never saw that thread before... Too lazy to post it in there, and the fact that it's a year old already,
But for a quick edit couldn't there be a button where the text inside the post is made editable (made up a word kinda?) and then you just click okay after you change your post, and then the thread would reload.

It should be easy todo with javascript, i think DT made a GM script a while ago.
Im sure if WDZ or any other admin could be arsed to implement it then it would be simple

In that way, people will see something is already discussed, and in that way people shouldn't even bother making a post, and in that way you wouldn't even need a quick edit button either...
(and if they did search and wanted to add something usefull to the discussion, continue in the same existing thread instead of creating a new one all over again)

MyBB 1.2 has quick edit and quick reply and multi-quote...
