Is it possible to make a script to change the little icon of the chat window in the taskbar to something different when the user you are chatting with is typing a message?

For example a different colour little man with a speech bubble? Or the speech bubble has dots in it?

Something easy to see would be good...

I noticed this has been asked before, and it is apparently quite possible, but no script was made/ released for it.

There was also some debate over its usefulness... NOTE: I dont use tabs, so there would be no confusion as to which user is typing, unlike if tabs were used.

Any idea's anyone?

OK, great, thanks...

A friend of mine knows some c#... But I dont think he knows that much, nor anything about messenger plus etc, so i dont think he will be a lot of help...

I have a thread on a feature similar to this. I could easily do it for you when I get the chance, although I'm not sure about an animated one. I'm just about to go out so I can try when I get back if you need any help, although the main part of the coding is in the 5th post.

Edit: Sorry I just realised your actual issue is probably detecting when someone is typing? I'm not sure if there's a script function in Plus! to do this or not... If there is, my thread should help. If not, I'm not sure. Sorry.

I was actually looking at an alternate method. This method would work by setting up an event hook for when the notification area is changed if it is X is typing or whatever it is then it would change the icon. This can be made possible by ActiveAccessibility.
