I don't think it should be * at all, its (for example) 200 by 150, not 200 times 150, * is times (multiply) on computers, i always used x to do by (like for sizes)

it should be x not * - You're all just doing it wrong and don't want to correct yourselves

Yah! That is a great idea! With images with weird demintions like..... 42311 by 23424 its hard to resize them in your head

That's just not possible without myBB reading EVERY image inserted in EVERY post, and that's not possible either

In html you can set width or height to percentage, but they are percentages of the actual container, for example, 50% of the total page width, not 50% of the actual image width.

Yeah, yeah, great idea, but not feasible server side.

You could just settle for some half-arsed javascript crap if you really wanted it

very picky BBcoders... how oten do you post bigger and smaller size pictures?  if its everyday.. then its a good idea, but its only once in a while

Like Guido said, "x" is the standard, they're doing it wrong, so they should learn to start typing it right instead of doing it wrong for the rest of their lives instead of getting around their mistakes by asking Forum admins to add a new bbcode so they can carry on
