O.P. Memory could not be "written"
Recently i have been getting this error
The memory at a refrenced file could not be "written"
At first i thought it was localized to msn messanger
but then i got it in explorer.exe (lol)  a few times along with other processes

Could this be because i disabled Microsoft Messanger?

Nope. The Messenger service is disabled by almost every windows user due to the spammers who use it...They seem unrelated...
Could you give us a screenshot?

Do you by any chance use Spybot search and destroy, it has been known to cause this problem...if so uninstall it and see if it goes away
