Hi there,

I hav found that when i use the custom contacts name option to show the custom names i hav given ppl in my contacts list is on, when ppl hav emotions in their screen names they do not show in the chat screen. When i uncheck this option and revert bak to using ppls screen names in the contact list it works fine and the emotions show in ppls screen names.

I am running

• MSN Messenger 6.2.0133
  
• MSN Plus! 3.01.94
  
• Windows XP Pro Version 5.1 Build 2600 SP1

It's a known limitation and there is no solution other than disabling custom names

Can't they think a solution that custom names function is great but it's annoying that the emoticons doesn't work anymore. Is there nothing else what they can do about it except disabling the custom names.
