O.P. Feature request
Hi,

One thing I'd like to see in Messenger Plus (if it's not already there and I've just missed it - so many options!) is the ability to automatically close chat windows that have been open for X amount of time with no activity.  What do you think?

Cheers

Well, I don't see why anyone would wantto use it.. if someone sends you a message and you're not here, that would mean that you would never see the message exceptif you were coming back in time :)

Yea, but maybe you could activate it, and its not activated when your status is any other than online, because if you're away from the computer, then you just change your status, and there you have it, the convo's don't get closed.

little late isn't it patchou?

Even if you are online, you could be busy for 2 minutes chatting in another window or looking up something or whatever, and right when you want to open the window to reply, it dissapears.... not a good thing. I highly doubt this will be used much. It will cause more problems then solve anything...

i agree with the others this could cause probs. im often in a convo with sum1 when another convo pops up i cant always respond to the new convo straight away so then itd get closed and id never know what was said or who sent it. the only way this could work is if you added a feature that enabled you to view missed messages. itd work in the same way that mobile phones identify missed calls, if a message was autoclosed itd be considered a missed message so u could then check the missed message log to see watt was said and who sent it then you could reply to that contact with your response thatd make this work.
