O.P. Huh?  Upgrading from 2.52 to 3.25 without losing settings.
I'm long overdue for an upgrade & keen to do so.
As stated in the subject line, I'll be going from 2v52 to 3v25, & I don't want to lose my settings & plugin's settings in the process ("Qwick Texts", logs, encryption, etc).

My current MsgPlus install is in the default C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus 2, but presumably, this would not be the default install path for 3v25.
So I am wondering, can 3v25 simply b installed as an upgrade to 2.52, or, will I need to uninstall 2v52 b4 installing 3v25, & backup/transfer all my setings manually ?

Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Cheers.

You can simply update, your settings won't be lost ;)
If you doubt you can save your plus settings too: plus > preferences ... you will see save/load button on the bottom left.

Advanced Info:
Your preferences are saved in Registry database, not Program Files\Messenger Plus! 2 (or 3) directory. Don't worry, the registry entry for both Plus! 2 and Plus! 3 is MsgPlus2, meaning that you won't have anything lost :) Plus! only removes the registry when you uninstall it and choose to wipe the settings.
