i find it confusing when you find a thread thats been split but u cant find the rest of it as it doesnt show you what it was split from?

could this be added? what do you think of this?

Yeah, and paste that into the search page and set it to search subjects.

The original thread is always kept track of in the moderator logs, but of course, only moderators can see those.

yea but people can change the post title, they normally dont, but they can.

I think something like

Original Thread: When [split] should show source
