O.P. Message Not Sent

Every so often I get a problem with sending mesages to my online contacts, and it is solved by closing the conversation window and opening it again.

Should I reinstall MSN or is there another reason to this?

Handwriting can sometimes cause this. try end-tasking WISPTIS.EXE and restarting messenger, and trying again.
