O.P. "the invitation could not be sent" & Plus!...
I've noticed couple of times, that when the contact window (not contact list) is open for a while, the messenger itself breaks the connection between 2 participants (as SPNG says with specific option enabled, "contact name has been removed.".

when I try to send a file or webcam invitation or something else after that (without closing and re-opening the window) it gives me immediately the message "the invitation could not be sent"... it's very easy to miss this - therefore annoying...

can this be controlled at all by Plus!?.. I mean if it can be, then is it worth of thinking that after getting this message, Plus! would send the command right away again?..

regards...

what command are you meaning that Plus! would send?

The connection is broken to save bandwidth and load on the MSN Messenger servers and its not a good thing to constantly keep open connnections you aren't using.

If you type something to your contact and then try sending does that work? I know that if you close and reopen the window this will work too :). But i know it can be annoying sumtimes
Segosa is newb.

The removed message is after a period of time when the MSN server classes your conversation as finished (because no one has said anything for about 5 minutes), so it doesn't matter what you have installed, this would happen normally just no "contact has been removed" message would be displayed.
As I said this message apears after 5 minutes or so inactivity. (I've noticed it sometimes quicker and not always depending on how long no one has sent a text message if one of the clients isn't connected via uPnP but that doesn't matter).
Just send a Plus ping to the contact, a message, or even just a blank message and then send the file, that way you don't have to close and reopen the window.

but for an example... is it possible to make a plugin which sends immediately the corresponding command again only if the "invitation could not be sent" message is received...

or is it just worthless?..:P

Yes, it would be quite simple to do with the Messenger API.
