I know that you can check when the last message was received in a convo but once you close it theress no way to know except to check your logs.

I was wondering if somwere between Last new chat and last seen online if you could put a thing saying last message received.

Btw, MSN Messenger already has a feature that brings back the most recent chat in your convo.

You can also use Messenger Plus! quote sender feature.

Right click on somone and goto Contact Information thats were i'd like it to tell me when i last got a instant message from that person

Oh, you can see that sort of information in the "Contact List Clean-Up", it does not tell you the time of the last message etc, but it tell's you how many days it was since you last spoke to that user.

That's not what he's looking for - he's looking for a 'Last Message Sent' time, which as he correctly points out is only available in the logs.

I'm not sure how useful such a feature would be, but I can't see a reason not to have it

you have the "last new chat" on the contact information menu, that is pretty much what he wants.

Usually a time after the 'Last Chat', which IIRC is the last time a convo window is opened to that contact.
