O.P. Keyhook.exe error, I need help.
[Image: attachment.php?pid=499931]

I keep getting this error everytime I start up Windows XP. It doesn't do much apart from when I close an instance of FireFox it stays in my process list thus it clogs my process.

If any one knows what the problem is could you help me fix it?

That process is part of Acer Launch Manager, which is most likely used for all those multimedia keys on your keyboard, reinstalling it should help;
Click here to begin download. After installation, reboot your computer.
If that doesn't work, just uninstall Acer Launch Manager, it will stop the multimedia keys on your keyboard from working though...

Also that's a picture I took :p

lol that's not good. Any idea what kind of key logger? Some of them have the ability to send screenshots and logs and more via email.

Do you know who it was? :P

SiSApCom.dll is related to your SIS video driver. And by seeing the error message it is most likely this is not a desguised keylogger at all... Don't believe everything you read on the net (especially from those let-us-make-people-super-paranoid-so-they-buy-our-cleaners forums)

The program is installed by your driver (when you fully install the vga driver package), but as most of those full-install things, it also installs many useless stuff. KeyHook.exe is one of those things. It isn't needed at all for normal computer use, heck not even for 'advanced' computer use.

All you needed to do was either to uninstall the whole driver thing and update to the latest drivers for your card. Or manually remove the program by ending it's process in the task manager, clearing the startup entry in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows\currentVersion\run, and delete the program from C:\windows\system32 as well (and it's possible backup).

Anubis told me that it probably was a keylogger even though I disagreed with him. I looked in the Task Manager and noticed some non-windows processes that looked obviously to be keylogging, spyware or something of that nature.

So I don't know what it was but a format worked.
