This thread inspired me to search the net for msgplus.exe. I found this. I don't know anything about copyright, but is someone else allowed to use the same name?

It's obviously some person/company who is in the pornography business using msgplus.exe as the name of the program to get the content. Although, I don't know if the phrase "msgplus" is copyright is it?

even if it wasnt legal for someone else to use that executable name, porn dialers dont really care. they just want you to connect to their expensive "Service". there really malware.

Not to mention all other variants used by people to either profit from msgplus's succes or either to give msgplus a bad name, like

msnplus.exe      added by the RBOT-MU WORM!
msnplus1.exe     added by the W32/Sdbot-XQ worm.
msgplus32.exe   added by a variant of the SPYBOT WORM!
etc...
etc...
