Hi all

How can I get time stamping going in a normal chat window ?
I'm not interested in having chat logs.

You can download the Plus! plugin called StuffPlugNG. (http://stuffplug.com)

Put [%H:%M:%S] incase you didnt have it. I had to find this my self, this should save you some time if u rin into the same problems i did

I was wondering if the timestamp in convo window is also saved in the chat logs.

Anyone has an idea?

The messenger plus chat logs put on a timestamp whether you have stuff plug add one in your convo window or not.

The last time I checked (around one year ago or so) the chat logs also contained the timestamp from Stuffplug when the SP's timestamp's activated.

So, it would look like this:
[Plus' timestamp] [SP's timestamp]thekid: blah blah blah...

i believe Patchou made changes/added a feature to the API to stop this happening.

Nothing to do with the API really. But rather two symbols after the time stamp: [14:33:12] test says: (copy and paste the timestamp and your nick to see the characters).

Those symbols are there to make sure only one set of timestamps appear in your MsgPlus! Chat Logs.
