indeed, i hate their current adverts

AOL has built in spyware protection (no it doesn't its built on IE and downloads activeX stuff automatically, also the spyware protection is an extra application :P)

I have been with Sympatico for about 3 years now.  Never had a problem (no disconnections, no lag, no low-speeds).  I have been on the High Speed (3.0 Mbps) speed. -- Their staff is smart too (unlike AOL's)

however much i beg my dad aswell he won't change as he doesn't experience any problems, (but then he might use the internet for about 4 hours a week to check his work emails and maybe do some research or buy gig tickets)

stupid aol keeping me on xp 32 bit :'(

I had a problem with my net connectiong a few months back. I called and it took 10 minutes to get answered, then they transfered me, and that took another 45 minutes. 2 months later I had another problem, so I called. Here is what it was like:

Him: It shouldn't sir.

*Two minutes later I was transfered*

Me: What's the problem?
Him: Your modem burned. I'll send someone over tommorow night to give you a new, free one.

You have to call. I personally think that's the best way.
