Hi everyone.

Not sure why, but I have lost some of my winks and backgrounds and can't figure out where to get them back.  I installed the beta version of the Windows Live Messenger and since uninstalling, I have lost these.  Is there a way to get them back?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Messenger 7.5 twice now and still don't have them.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you lose the default ones, or ones you installed yourself?

If you lose the default ones, you should reinstall windows live messenger, if you loose yours, you will find them in C:\Documents and settings\{Username}\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger. Use a backup software like Baisoft MSN Backuper to backup them and add them to your msn

The defaults are only restored if you delete the map.dat files.

Where do I find these files and how do I delete them?  I lost "SOME" of the default ones, not all.  Lost some of the dynamic backgrounds too.
