RIght i need a PSP downgrader for 2.8 to get to 1.5 and wone that doesnt get you PSP bricked, does anyone know where i can find one?

There's always a chance of bricking your PSP when downgrading. I'm fairly sure we're not allowed to post how to do it here (it's illegal), so I'll just give you some pointers:

If you have a TA-082 motherboard, you'll need a special downgrader, or you will brick your PSP.

This should tell you everything you need to know.

Good news, there is a downgrader for 2.80,  which was realesed in late december. Firset, i need you to open your UMD drive at the back where you put in disks, which btw when you downgrade you can just download the games..... So open it up, and tell me if you see ICI3001

Downgrader from 2.80 to 2.71 for any motherboard TA97-TA86

from there you can then run Dark_alex's 2.71 downgrader to get to 1.5

from there you can install 3.02OE-A then upgrade that to 3.02OE-B so you can play PSX games and all homebrew etc

my psp may be broken but i like to keep up with the psp news
