It's meant to be that way. Check the URL on the address bar, if it belongs to microsoft, then that particular page won't do any harm to you. That page probably show when your connection is slow in loading, hence, you will see a full page view with the text redirecting... on it instead of a quick redirection.

Are you using StuffPlug? Since the "open links in default browser" feature uses a HTML page to redirect you to a site. ;)
