actullay I do not like msg plus's internal chatting log open function.
when open big log file, the speed is slow and often no responsding.
I remember old version MSG plus. only open the chatting log folder, u can use any TXT editor to open the chatting log and search.

but the internal chatting log view system seems can not read big log file smoothly.

(my system is vista x64, 4GB meme, intel E6600, scsi Raid 5)
can author fix this problem?

did you encrypt the logs? because it takes a while to decrypt if long

and you can save to txt if in the prefs you go to conversations tab > Chat logging > save as plain text file
