Some stuff can't removed unless you manually do it.
So its not just OneCare that doesn't remove certain stuff. :-)

Cheap and good. does its job for me :)

I've used it since its been in beta, never had issue.

So i guess its just way you want to work with it. i install it don't have to tounch it again because it does its own work.

No issues :-)

Like everything people have different experiences. So i'd stick to telling people the good old try before you buy option.

RE: Windows Live OneCare removed Plus! files
but still Norton 360, i just loved the initial comments on Neowin's release page :P

-   "300MB of free hard disk space"

They must be kidding. That is pathetic.

-    Allright folks ! New norton is here ... ready to slow down your computers ?

-    I guess once you run the inbuilt PC tune up, Norton will proceed to uninstall itself

-   * 300MHz or higher processor
    * 256MB of RAM minimum
    * 300MB of free hard disk space

Im gunna boot up my 300mhz machine and see what happends

-   no 64bit os support? oh... no...

-   So let me make sure I understand...

This is basically Systemworks and Internet Security in one package, with one price tag, giving people the ability to completely **** up to three family computers for an entire year?

Where do I sign up?

Windows Live OneCare is at it again, this time attacking the installer.  "Win32/MessengerPlus.b!installer" is the detection its giving for the latest version of Plus' Installer.  It doesnt force you to remove it though.

Seems like one of the most far detections i've seen in a while. But their technical info is a bit off :)
