O.P. Tabs don't flash when an action message is sent

When I have multiple tabs open, and someone sends me an action message (/me text), with a different tab focused, the tab bar nor the taskbar item will give it's usual orange flash.

Using:
Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2 (5.1.2600)
Windows Live Messenger 8.01.0178
Messenger Plus! Live 4.20.0.262
also stuffplug, no other patches.

This is a general bug that I have noticed a little while ago. Same happens for me you are not alone. I think if you have MDL theres an option to fix it somewhere in there.
