Wacom's Cintiq 21UX interactive pen display combines the advantages of an LCD monitor ... By using a pen directly on the screen, you work much more quickly and naturally.

oh whoops, I thought the Cintiq was basically like a tablet PC/moniter. My mistake.

RE: Tablet opinions.
was put impeccably into words at DebianDay for me last Saturday, by Knut Yrvin of Trolltech - adults try something once, fail, and then are like "ffs this doesn't work". Children try, fail, and then try again, and succeed - maybe on the second, or even fifth retry. But the thing is that they keep at it and overcome the problems in the end.

The Cintiq isn't a tablet pc, it is a touch-monitor, it doesn't contain a cpu etc (from what I quickly could read) quote: Originally posted by Verte

cool... But that is a normal pc with a touch-monitor (thus not a tablet pc either) since the screen can't rotate around and lie flat on the keyboard (notice the two swivel points instead of one in the middle).
Tablet pc = pc with touch-monitor which can be handled like a piece of paper/book. It is like a big PDA.

I think they were looking for ways to get the tablet and monitor in one package, but not as a separate PC, more like a graphics tablet that you attach to your PC. So I guess you could buy an LCD and this and you would have a graphics tablet that also shows what you're drawing.
