O.P. "Could not open install.log.file" having trouble with solution
I have a problem. When i try and uninstall a program gamespy it gives me a message saying "Could not open install.log.file" and then gives me option to locate it manually. So what i did was i installed it again and then unistalled it but that didnt work, it just unistalled the one i had installed the second time and the original was still there. The only thing that happened was that it removed it from the desktop and from the place where u locate from program files using start.
So i have googled the problem and found the solution and i am told to locate the "install.log file" in the directory and move this to desktop and then uninstall it again. The only problem is i cannot uninstall it through start because when i reinstalled it and uninstalled again it, it removed from it from the start menu and when i try to remove it from control panel it just gives me error message "Could not open install.log.file" and will not give me option to uninstall manually. Could you help me with this problem ?
